Not a true 4ga cable
Quality is OK. Remote wire is very thin. Power and ground cables are definitely not 4ga. 6ga terminals worked good enough, but we’re still oversized on these cables.

Decent all in one package… a little lacking.
Biggest issue I had was the terminal connectors were too small for the 8 ga wiring it came with (looks liek they would fit 10 or 12 ga wiring better). Had to split them open to fit the wire in, then crimp. Also the ground wire was a little short for my application, so having to make my own. In hindsight, I should have bought everything separately to customize, but just need all the extra I’d end up with.

Not 1/0 in strand diameter, but…
I got this kit for my Skar RP2000.1D and Skar SVR12’s, to replace the BOSS AUDIO 4g amp kit that I originally had with my 800w kicker. For starters, visually the Skar power cable appears larger than the 4gauge I had in place; however, when comparing the packed copper strands from one to the other, Skar’s looks VERY similar in diameter, maybe 2gauge (unless the strands are so compressed that a traditional 1/0 turned into a 2gauge visually). I removed a star for the fact that I highly doubt it’s AWG 1/0 standard. However, the cabling is very flexible, has really good quality in appearance and feel. It cuts easy without copper pull. Overall, regardless, it was a $50 kit, and everything definitely appears quality.I haven’t yet run the RCA cables, they don’t look bad. Probably won’t be using the speaker wires as I’ve got a KnuKoncepts spool of 12guage for my subs. The only things I really need from this kit are the Power & Ground + 200A fuse, Remote for another amp install, & RCA cables.

Wire quality wasn’t what I would prefer.
I dislike the fact the fuse block is not weather resistant at all. Also the wires are of a lower quality than I expected. All and all runs my amplifier fine because I’m not pushing it to it’s limits

Works as intended
This amp kit serves it’s purpose quite nicely. Though I am confused as to why the included speaker wire that claims to have been 16 gauge but is more like 18 gauge without the insulation, was included for use with a class D amp?. If you use that tiny wire to run a sub, you’re very likely to experience problems. Wouldn’t recommend that. Outside of that, it’s a great bargain in comparison to the name brands as it does the job.

Great Value kit.
Great price for a pretty inclusive kit. I’m glad I went with this 17′ kit rather than the 14′ kit I almost bought. If I had bought the 14′, it would have been too short. I installed it in a 2005 Escalade short wheelbase for reference, and power wire, remote wire and RCA’s all reached to the back. Also, I checked several reviews of competing sellers kits and alot of them have smaller gauged wire than advertised (read the reviews), so be aware of that. These wires seem true to size.

Good for lower watt amps for 8ga but on smaller side
I know the quality is nothing compared to higher priced wiring kits but the 8 ga is good for a lower 200w single sub amp. Smaller size easier to run through firewalls and easy tucking. Still works great continuous connectivity without any flaws.

Gives you what you need
Wired up two different vehicles with this kit and they give you what you need.. the in-line fuse is the only item in the kit I wish they’d ditch and go with a simpler cleaner design. The style where you insert and tighten down the allen screw to join the wire to the fuse.. quicker and easier.

Works but quality is not as good as it could be
These wires work, they could feel better the coating is very flimsy, and cheap feeling. But they work, they work great for my sub. I have been using them for 6 months and no problems.

Works but should be a little better
The 0/1 guage wire seems a little thin. I’ve ordered 0/1 guage in the past and it’s seems thicker even compared side by side I’d guess this wire was somewhere between 0/1 and 4 guage. I also had barely enough wire to complete the job. My car is a honda civic, so small car literally if it was 1 foot shorter I’d be screwed. Usually these kits leave me with an extra like 5 feet or so. The fuse holder kinda sucks, the heatshrink doesn’t shrink, you only get 2 ring terminals and without the right tool it’s impossible to get them to crush properly. Everythng else was fine. For the price I’d say its adequate, but typically I’d expect better out of a wiring kit.

Nice but different
Everything came as it was supposed to, and it all works. I do not care for this style of in line fuse or the fact nothing was attached to the wires for the positive or negative like it has been on other brands I’ve bought. It does work but make sure you have good wire strippers and REALLY good crimpers. Good kit for the price but man, way more involved than my old setup from the Walmart was. (Brand started with an Sch, cheap but awesome.) overall I would recommend this amp kit, but I do wish I knew what was and what wasn’t done ahead of time. I bought the 17’ for an 03’ WJ and have about two feet of extra wire. Hope this helps someone.

Skar 8 gauge CCA amp wire kit
The 8 gauge power wire isn’t 8 gauge. It’s more like 10 gauge,if not smaller. I’m just happy that I didn’t need it right now,as I am gathering up ALL my install gear, so I can do EVERYTHING at one time.

2021 Silverado. This is not a 1200w kit!!!
2021 Silverado Trail Boss.17′ was just enough wire to run it through the passenger side grommit to the tire iron. This 4 gauge wire is more like an 8 gauge. It’s matches around 60% of my other 4 gauge Stinger and Rockford Fosgate OFC power wires. Ring terminals are cheap and feel like soda can pull tabs.I only used the power wire and the fuse holder. Everything else was trash. Used my leftovers from other kits to complete the install. I always use Stinger. Gave this one a chance and will never buy Skar wire kits again. I’ve gotten better stuff from Walmarts Scoche kits.I would not run any thing over 750-800 watts at 17′ with this kit if you want to protect your amp. Maybe 1000 watts if youre not maxing out volume levels. This kit is more suited for something like a Rockford Fosgate 500.1 or Kicker 800.1. A HiFonics 1000w amp. I would definitely have returned it if I was running 1200-1500 watts.I didn’t want to pack and return to get something because I am try out an NVX Amp 750w@2ohms to two 10″ Kicker CompR’s. Just trying to fill out the low end at 50-60%ish listening volumes.If I was running my 15’s or my MTX or Kicker amps that do 1200-1600w, this kit would definitely have been returned. ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED!!!
